The company Merlo Viaggi

History

The Merlo Group

Merlo Viaggi's origins date back to 1950 when Mr. Francesco Merlo from Passatore, a small town in the province of Cuneo, opened the business with passion and dedication. For its time it was an absolutely innovative company: his car hire company had got only one vehicle and provided services pretty much only in the small village. Soon after he began to see to the school bus service for the local school.

With the addition of his son David the small family business gradually expanded, progressively acquiring branches of other companies operating in the educational services sector and bought its first bus for hire with driver.

Over the years Merlo Viaggi sas further enlarged its vehicle fleet, consolidated and developed its clientele and acquired a strong position among companies hiring cars and school buses in the "Granda" Province (the largest province of Piedment, Cuneo).

In 2004, Mr Tardivo Alessandro joined our company and currently organizes its purely administrative and commercial aspects.

The history of the Merlo Viaggi sas is characterized by the progressive hiring of new staff, all people who share our same passion for coaches and car hire in general.
